During this last heat wave, he was craving something more exciting than water, so I created a raw, naturally sweetened lemonade for him that contained vitamin C, potassium, vitamin A, vitamin K, pectin fiber, with digestive, immune, and allergy boosting properties.

Basil Honey Lemonade

1 ½ lemons peeled + Seeded ½ cup fresh basil leaves ¼ cup honey 3 cups filtered water 1 cup ice cubes

Place everything in a high-powered blender and blend for a minute. Basil and lemon slice for garnish.
