This marks the perfect season, with all the herbs in full flowery blossom, to steep some stunningly, medicinal teas and keep them in the refrigerator as the perfect iced tea when in need of a refreshing tonic or to offer a visitor. The herbs I use from my garden are always transitioning, and you can get quite creative with mix and matching rare and common herbs. You can even make it a bit more southern and sweet with 1 tsp of honey.
PROCESS | bring water to a boil. Add your selection of herbs to a large glass container. Add boiling water to half of your glass container and lid so it can steep for over ten minutes to release medicinal properties. Fill the rest with spring water then place in the refrigerator for the perfect healing drink.
