Under today's powerful lunar grounding, Desiree Pais of Benshen invites us to dig a little deeper within ourselves to bring us closer to clarity.
D | On Tuesday, October 27th, we are graced with a very grounded Full Moon in Taurus. Thank God. With all the cosmological chaos that has stirred the inner cauldron with eclipse season, this earthy Full Moon is more than welcome.
I had the opportunity to attend the inspiring Woman's Circle at Maha Rose this weekend with Danielle Beinstein and Paula Mallis. The theme of the Lunar cycle and the afternoons gathering was "Grounding Into Your Gifts". I absolutely loved this theme as it's something I have been thinking about a lot lately. What am I meant to do here? What inspires me? What gets me out of bed in the morning? And most importantly, what keeps me going - even when the going gets rough?
Until the gathering, I realized that I haven't been very clear with what I want. I have an idea, I get inspired, I have the quick-fix visions, but I don't have crystal clear sight as to what it is I want to manifest. Yogi Bhajan, the master of Kundalini Yoga, has a poem where he says 'dreams aground', emphasizing that we have to have the ability and agility to be able to bring our dreams down to earth, and be able to keep them here.
We are all here to deliver something special in this incarnation. We came here with a special gift that no one else can deliver. Maybe we're musicians, artists, scientist, writers, designers, chefs, lawyers, dancers - whatever it is, whatever that passion you have is, no matter how off the beaten track it may be, it is what will be the greatest fulfillment of your destiny. To deny that will deny your own happiness. I never imagined that I would be studying Kundalini, often donning a turban, and meditating at the crack of dawn, but I'm passionate about it. I can't put the books down. I can't stop listening to lectures. I can't stop sharing the incredible tools that have helped me. No matter how weird it may seem to other people. In the past, when I wasn't sure of what I wanted, I was easily swayed by the approval of others. When you're in the momentum of your gifts and passions, you are utterly unstoppable.
In order for prosperity to come down and through, we have to create the container for it to exist in. We have to get clear, and we also have to soften enough to allow the resistance to melt away. Inspired by the Woman's Circle's guidance, I invite us all to answer these questions to ground down into our gifts:
What gifts do I have to offer?
What gifts am I passionate about?
Am I living in alignment with my gifts or am I resisting them?
What limiting beliefs do I have around creating a life in alignment with my passions?
What small action steps can I take daily to help me make my dreams a reality?
