Cellular Green Smoothie

One of my incredibly overworked clients struggled with terrible PMS symptoms for half the month, every month.  So she took me on to balance her hormones through NATIVE feed, meal planning, and a custom tea blend. With a daily tea infusion, food to stabilize her blood sugar and balance her endocrine system, and eating to nourish all four of her cycles, she proudly reports zero PMS symptoms after one full menstrual cycle. That beautiful moment when one menses without even the slightest sign that it was on the way—other than maybe the moon. One of our most powerful tools to getting her into this balance was due to this fiber rich & hormone feeding (fats) smoothie that helped her liver to detoxify excess estrogen much quicker through morning elimination with copious fats to build the hormones she needs.  Not only is this smoothie beneficial for women struggling with hormone imbalance, but it’s quite universal by benefiting men as well as it is incredibly alkalizing, brain feeding, skin nourishing, blood & cellular oxygenating, libido boosting, and adaptogenic.

CELLULAR GREEN SMOOTHIE

1 c purified water

1 banana

1 pear

½ tsp cordyceps

¼ tsp maca

2 tablespoons flax

2 tablespoons hemp seeds

1-2 tablespoons of raw coconut oil

1 tablespoon tocos

1 cup spinach

Handful of cilantro

Handful of parsley

PROCESS | blend for 45 seconds in a high power blender. Or until smooth.

NOTE* though I could live on smoothies, I only recommend them to my clients during incredibly hot weather like we’ve been having. Otherwise, this morning drink would have shifted to a warmer bite. And we blend to nearly room temperature so as to shock digestion less. That’s right, no ice. During this weather, I enjoy this for breakfast often. Or as an afternoon snack.
