August presents itself in full honesty - summer is here, but fall is near. It gifts us with transition in the most gentle and beautiful ways possible - warmer ocean water, evening gatherings outside with higher stakes knowing that they will soon disappear, and a very small preview at the fall produce to come. More than anything, it warns that change is coming, so soak up this time while it lasts. Here are a few of the staples that I'll use to cherish this late summer month:
STETSON ROAD HAT | felt oddly doesn't feel so intrusive anymore for the evenings here and beyond.
FIGS | because they are abundant and have wiggled their way into every single dish and smoothie I've been making - especially this tonic.
EVAN HEALY POMEGRANATE SERUM | because something about the perfect compatibility between pomegranate and sea buckthorn oil have made my face hydrated and silk-esc.
JOHN MASTERS ORGANICS SPF 30 | this mineral and shea butter sensation has not only provided great broad spectrum coverage, but so conveniently travels with me everywhere I go.
SAINT JAMES LONG SLEEVE | after passing on picking one of these up from their original habitat while on holiday in Brittany, France last summer, I've been longing for it ever since. I think that makes for a legitimate reason to treat myself?
CLASSIC WHITE VANS | because why fix it if it isn't broken? There was never another classic that looked so good with vintage cutoff denim shorts and a striped shirt.
THE TEACHINGS OF YOGI BHAJAN | I'm in need of deep review.
JOSIE MARAN ROSY STICK | because I picked this up on a whim a few months ago when I needed a quick cheek before a meeting. It's become my serious summer on-the-go rose gold halo - post gym, pre meeting, forgot to put on a face - anytime - stick.
