One of our absolute favorite little date spots in Venice is Gjusta. I think it’s most peoples’ go-to. But even more notable than their fish & falafel plate are their ferments. Last Sunday we just restocked our favorites: fermented Green Chili Sauce, Smoked Tabasco Sauce, and Red Chili Sauce. I felt inclined to write this as one of these probiotic rich condiments will land in nearly every single dish in my house. From eggs to bowls to salad dressings, they are an absolute staple digestive aid. And more so than bacterially beneficial, the formulas are perfect.
So if you find yourself west soon, or traveling to LA, make sure to pop in and indulge in these (or their sauerkraut and pickled veggies). You’ll be exceptionally pleased.
