Coconut Shea Marula Après-Soleil

I've arrived in NYC. Summer is stunning here. I still find New York to be the most romantic city in the world - even over Paris. And it's getting me extra excited for my workshop on Sunday which has only two spots left.

Before taking flight on Sunday, I whipped up a little coconut concoction to use as my after sun après-soleil, which moisturizes the skin, soothes any sun redness, and extends your tan.  I'm really into Ko & Humble's oils (more on why they are so special later this week), and I seem to be very DIY oriented as of late, so here is my formula for the next month!

Coconut Shea Marula Après-Soleil

1/2 c coconut oil | melted

1/4 c shea butter | melted

3 droppers full of marula Oil

2 droppers full of sea buckthorn oil

2 droppers full of passion fruit seed oil

5 drops of rose otto essential oil

2 drops of frankincense essential oil

PROCESS | place your jar of choice inside a pan. Fill the pan (NOT YOUR JAR) with 1/2" of water. Bring the water to a boil so as to form a double broiler. Fill your jar with the coconut oil and shea butter. Melt them to liquid. Take jar out. Once the liquid has cooled to skin temperature, add all other ingredients. Stir. Cap. Place in fridge for two hours to solidify. Enjoy all summer.
